My tale of losing weight and transforming my body really begins in July of 2017. Around that time, I was in a relationship that was unhealthy for me, and I found it difficult to stick to any workout program or food plan. I had a lot of trouble breaking up with my partner since he didn’t encourage me to pursue my health and fitness objectives. I realized I needed to make some kind of adjustment when the stress of the fact that I wasn’t happy in my relationship led to me binge eating. I attempted to get in touch with Julie Lohre throughout the month of July 2017. Despite the fact that I was still with my partner, one of my primary goals was to improve my physical health and fitness.
I am going to be very forthright when I say that as soon as I had my first conversation with Julie, I knew I was in excellent hands and that she could assist me in making the transition in my weight loss that I desired. Even more impressive to me was the degree of information that was included in the training routine and eating plan. The state of my mind was not prepared, unfortunately. I wasn’t able to get into the correct frame of mind to complete my programs since I was more preoccupied with the relationship that I needed to end. Throughout this entire period, I never even finished a check-in after every two weeks.
It was a difficult decision, but I finally broke up with my partner in November of 2017. After that, I went out with friends almost every weekend to eat and drink, none of which was really good for me. This went on for many months. In January 2018, one of my close friends suggested that I go to the gym and get my priorities in order so that I could move on with my life. While I was aware that the moment had come, I was unsure of how “prepared” I was to return.
My weight was 184, and I spent much of my time concealing myself under layers of clothing. I was so embarrassed by the amount of weight I gained that I didn’t even want others at my gym to see me because I didn’t want them to judge me. After that, I maintained a regular training and eating routine, and as a result, I was able to successfully shed several pounds. The process of losing weight and changing my appearance was a gradual one, but I saw differences. My thoughts were back where they should be, and I was having a great time getting back into shape physically and mentally while surrounding myself with positive, encouraging people. Because of a change in employment, my buddy and personal trainer, who I had been working out with, was no longer going to be able to join me for our regular sessions. Around this time, I had such a positive outlook on my life that I wanted to continue progressing in a positive direction. I was aware that in order to maintain improvement, I would need to continue holding myself responsible and committing to a regimented training plan. In March 2019, I made another attempt to get in touch with Julie. When I attempted online training for the last time, I couldn’t even make it for two weeks before I gave up. I remember feeling humiliated when I contacted her about it. The difference between before and after is that this time I prioritized myself and kept my attention on productive things. I had given my programs my whole and undivided attention, and I was ready to go. As I think back two years, I can’t believe how different I look today. I have not skipped any of the required check-ins or workouts!
WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE TO SEARCH FOR AN ONLINE FITNESS COACH IN THE FIRST PLACE?
I needed a framework and a sense of responsibility.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENTS IN THE WORLD OF FITNESS?
While I have never participated in a race or other form of competition, I consider my greatest achievement to be the fact that I am now in a physical condition that allows me to complete almost any training. If I want to, I can go for a run, attend a spin class, or do anything else. Since my endurance is stronger than it has ever been, I don’t even give things a second thought before I commit to performing them. I am not quite sure what my next objective will be in terms of my physical fitness, but I am certain that I will continue putting in a lot of effort and see where that leads me.
HOW DID YOU COME TO BE AWARE OF THE ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING PROGRAM THAT JULIE LOHRE PROVIDES?
Shelby Whaley, who is a friend of mine and was once my trainer. Previously, during an NPC Pittsburgh event, Shelby and Julie had both participated in a Fitness Competition. She shared with me that she had heard really positive things about the online training programs that you provide.
WHAT ORIGINAL CONCERNS DID YOU HAVE WHEN YOU FIRST BEGAN YOUR TRANSFORMATION INTO SOMEONE WHO HAS LOST WEIGHT?
My primary worry is whether or not it will be successful! I wasn’t sure whether or not having an online trainer would be beneficial given that I wouldn’t be able to meet them in person. But, after reading the success tales and being aware of your standing in the field, I came to the conclusion that I should give this a go. I am in the greatest condition of my life, and everything I did to get here started on the internet. I cannot believe the results I have had. TELL US THE DETAILS OF YOUR TRANSFORMATION INTO ONE WHO HAS LOST WEIGHT
Since I began this journey all over again in January of 2018, I have shed over 40 pounds and a significant number of inches. The road was not without its challenges; there were weeks when the number on the scale either went higher or stayed the same, but I made improvements in both the fit test and the measures. It blows my mind that I was never a runner and that I am now able to run one mile in less than eight minutes.

WHAT DO YOU CONSIDER TO BE THE MOST CHALLENGING ELEMENT OF THIS JOURNEY?
In the beginning, I found that traveling and attending social events were the most challenging for me. When I didn’t feel like I could eat anything, going out to supper or to events was a challenge for me. Now that I have achieved this sort of weight loss transition, I plan for these kinds of situations by looking at menus before I go out to eat, building my macros around the event, and even taking food with me in my purse when I go out to eat. Since this is now my way of life, I have to make it work. When I have to travel for business, I make it a point to always bring meals with me and to locate a nearby gym.
HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW THAT YOU HAVE MADE SUCH AN INCREDIBLE TRANSFORMATION IN REGARD TO YOUR WEIGHT LOSS? IN WHAT WAYS HAS YOUR PERSPECTIVE CHANGED REGARDING BOTH YOUR BODY AND YOUR LIFE?
I feel wonderful. I am now in the finest form of my life, and I like the self-assurance that I have whenever I get dressed. My lifestyle now revolves around being fit. I am able to get things done regardless of whether I am at home, on the road, or on a holiday. I really look forward to it, and I like how it makes me feel while I am working out. It also blows my mind that you don’t have to engage in severe calorie restriction if you give your body the nutrition it needs to function correctly. I still can’t believe that despite how much I eat, I continue to make progress.

The following are some of my other favorites… I use either four ounces of ground turkey or lean ground beef and combine it with half a cup of brown rice. After that, I sprinkle it with salsa from Trader Joe’s. I eat it on an almost weekly basis as part of my dinner rotation. Another one of my go-to meals is two pieces of Ezekiel bread topped with one-fourth cup of ragu pizza sauce, four ounces of grilled chicken, and one-fourth cup of low-fat mozzarella cheese. It suppresses my pizza desire!
WHAT DO YOU FIND TO BE THE MOST REWARDING AND LESS REWARDING ABOUT WORKING WITH JULIE LOHRE?
Everything! I am really satisfied with the organized format of both the workout routines and the diet plans. I really like how the workouts are always different from one another. I get so much joy out of anticipating new programs and seeing how my body reacts to them. I am overwhelmed by a sense of support and have complete faith in all that you provide to me. I have never seen better fitness regimens. I believe that the only drawback is that we do not get to interact with one another in person!

Put yourself in the company of those who will encourage and inspire you. When I think about the folks I choose to hang out with at the gym, at work, or at home, I realize that I have such an incredible support system. There may be days when you struggle to stay motivated, but having people around you who are supportive of the objectives you want to achieve will help you get through such days.
