Roslyn Polard was walking the streets of Edmonton when she came across an unusual sight.
A man, who looked homeless, was seated in front of a public piano and playing a beautiful melody!
Were her eyes playing tricks on her?
A homeless man with dirty clothes and long, tangled hair was playing the piano.

How could this happen?
Roslyn was so intrigued by the man that she decided to capture his performance on camera and later uploaded the video on her YouTube Channel.
She knew people online would be as baffled as she was watching a homeless guy play songs on a public piano.
And true enough, online viewers were so intrigued by the mysterious man that the video went viral is has now gained over 30 million views on YouTube. Wow!

The homeless man who plays the piano is named Ryan Arcand.
He claims that he never really knew how to play, but he taught himself by playing a public piano.

Ryan says that he has been living on the streets for 30 years, and no one really gave him lessons on playing the instrument. But, he knew he wanted to learn it so he taught himself over the years until he can play.

Much to everyone’s surprise, this man is not only able to play the piano but he also created his own song. He composed it and played the song in the video uploaded by Roslyn on her channel.
Everyone is simply in awe of this talented man. It is definitely interesting to find out that being out on the streets is not a reason for a person who is enamored with music to just give up on their dreams.

However, the man still preferred to live on the streets and even had a history of struggling with addiction.
Ryan passed away four years after his famous video was taken, but his will to grow as a musician is still an inspiration.
