An Australian snake catcher has issued a warning for all homeowners Down Under. If you live in a home with easy access to reptiles like brown snakes, then you had better watch out because these creepy crawly creatures are breaking into properties and hiding in comfortable places. That’s why one successful Australian snake catcher is urging Australians to “check their beds” after they discovered an extremely deadly six-foot brown snake hiding in the bedsheets of one homeowner’s property on the island nation.

The snake catcher, Zachery, from Zachery’s Snake and Reptile Relocation, received an urgent call for an emergency reptile relocation service from a home in Kalbar, which is located about one hundred ten kilometers west of Gold Coast in Australia. The call came in on Monday afternoon after the owner of the home came across the extremely dangerous brown snake lounging on top of the comforter and beneath the sheets as though it were the true owner of the house.

When it comes to dangerous snakes in Australia, few snakes are as dangerous as the venomous brown snakes. These snakes are considered some of the most dangerous reptiles in the country because they like to make their homes in more populated parts of the country where there are a lot of potential victims. These snakes can cause a lot of damage if they sink their fangs into a victim.

While the eastern brown snakes are not the most dangerous snakes in the world, they are the second most dangerous snakes on the planet. Their venom is so dangerous that it can cause paralysis as well as uncontrollable bleeding and, in many cases, death if it is not treated in time.

Zachery snapped photos of the snake lounging on the bedding, with the snake appearing both above and below the comforter as though it were taking a daytime nap. Someone wrote on social media that they would “burn the bedding” after having seen the snake on the bed, just knowing that the animal was there for a single second.

“Well, I’m never sleeping again,” one person wrote.

“I don’t think I’ll be going to bed now. I’ll sleep in my car,” another said.

“This is what nightmares are made of,” a third commenter wrote.

Zachery got right to work capturing the snake. However, the beast gave him quite the run for his money. The professional snake catcher confessed that this brown snake was “fairly feisty” and did not want to leave the bed when he came around to catch it. Nevertheless, the veteran snake catcher was able to get the snake into custody and remove it from the bed and from the premises before it was able to cause any damage or harm to anyone or anything on the property, including any people or pets.

The snake catcher safely disposed of the brown snake in the wild miles away from home, where it would not be able to cause harm to any other people any time soon.
