Queen Camilla has no engagements in her diary this week, and it is understood that she will spend a few days of private downtime with the King and her own family. His cancer diagnosis came after a hospital stay last month for a prostate condition, during which another health concern was noted. The King is undergoing treatment as an outpatient and has expressed a positive outlook on his recovery.

King Charles III has since issued a public statement expressing gratitude for the outpouring of support. «It is equally heartening to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organizations that support cancer patients and their families across the UK and the wider world,» he said.

He previously revealed that he made his diagnosis public to prevent speculation and to help broaden the understanding of individuals globally coping with cancer.

On January 29, 2024, before releasing his cancer diagnosis statement, the palace announced His Majesty’s discharge from the hospital due to a «planned medical treatment.» He has since paused his public engagements to focus on his health.

«His Majesty would like to thank the medical team and all those involved in supporting his hospital visit, and is grateful for all the kind messages he has received in recent days,» the statement read.

The King announced his cancer diagnosis following a medical procedure for his prostate, and Queen Camilla has since put on a brave face and had spoken about her husband’s diagnosis.

«He is doing extremely well under the circumstances. He is very touched by all of the letters and messages the public have been sending from everywhere. That’s very cheering,» she said a few days ago.

Most recently, King Charles III released a statement thanking the public for their unwavering love, support, and well wishes. He revealed that he decided to go public with his illness to raise awareness and understanding about cancer, especially among those affected by the dreaded disease.

Recent photos of the King of England showed him walking with a pep in his step just the day before his new health challenge became known. Buckingham Palace announced on Monday that the 75-year-old monarch has been diagnosed with cancer. The couple was spotted on their way to attend a Sunday service.

Additional photos also depicted the King and Queen leaving the Church of St Mary Magdalene, located on the Sandringham estate. While King Charles III adorned a taupe-colored coat and dress pants, Queen Camilla opted for a dark purple coat, matching-colored boots, and a hat that had fluffy trimming.

Both of them carried umbrellas as well, which, in some shots, show them being used as walking canes. Other pictures depicted King Charles III and Queen Camilla walking and conversing with Reverend Canon Dr. Paul Williams and another esteemed church member.

The royal duo’s outing comes days after the King was seen leaving The London Clinic after undergoing prostate surgery. Footage of his hospital departure shows the King waving to the crowds who wished him well as he got into his car with Queen Camilla.

According to a statement made by Buckingham Palace, King Charles III is still going to take time to recuperate privately before returning to work and further engagements.

As a positive update on the health situation of the King of England, King Charles III has been discharged from The London Clinic. He walked out of the hospital, hand-in-hand with his beloved wife, Queen Camilla, on Monday afternoon.

The King spent three nights at the clinic, where he received care after undergoing prostate surgery. Footage showed the happy couple, dressed smartly, smiling at the cameras as His Majesty The King waved to the public before getting into their car.

Before King Charles III exited the hospital, Queen Camilla visited him a few times while he was still there. People who saw the video of the King leaving the hospital reacted differently. One person expressed«He looks very thin.»

Another said«Looks very healthy. But he needs more rest. Hope he finds a quiet spot for a few weeks. Scotland would be perfect 👌😊,» while a third social media user who was pleased by the King’s appearance stated«Impressed that His Majesty is walking so smoothly.»

King Charles III’s hospital release comes just after it was announced that the Princess of Wales also left The London Clinic and returned home, where she continues to recover from her abdominal surgery.

Despite the judgemental opinions of some, others praised Queen Camilla and continued to send their well wishes to the King. One fan gushed«The King is lucky to have such a devoted Queen by his side ❤️❤️❤️❤️.»

Before her recent trips to the hospital, Queen Camilla gave a quick update on how her beloved husband has been doing since his operation. In a TikTok video, she divulged, «He’s fine, thank you very much. He’s looking forward to getting back to work.»

The 15-second-long video ends with the Queen walking away from the person who asked her how King Charles III was doing and showed her going to address a group of children.

King Charles III was also set to undergo a corrective procedure on January 26, 2024. Buckingham Palace announced on January 17, 2024, that the procedure was for the King’s enlarged prostate but that his condition was benign.

The King was photographed ahead of his planned operation on his way from Clarence House to a London clinic. He went into the same clinic where Kate underwent surgery and even passed by to visit his daughter-in-law. After he was admitted, a spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said the King thanked all who sent him good wishes.

The public has sent love and prayers to the Princess and the King as they start their respective recovery journeys. «❤️‍🙏 to both,» one person wrote. The Princess and His Majesty’s health updates were given to avoid speculation if they both fail to attend upcoming events or if some occasions are canceled. A spokesperson for King Charles III also announced the postponement of his public engagements during his recovery.
