Carol Burnett and Tim Conway played a couple who return to Mexico for their wedding in the drama on “The Carol Burnett Show.” They remain in the same room ten years after their first visit and continue to have concerns about its caliber.
They turn off the lights, climb into bed, and exchange goodnight kisses. Song’s eyes widen as she shouts out, “Henry, Henry!” Just something snaked across me. She is told that it is all in her head by Tim, who is playing Henry.
He points to Carol’s feet and says, “It’s right there!” when Tune urges him to turn on the light. She yells and stands up, and he quickly lets her know he’s joking. In a flash of wrath, she eventually hits the sack.
As she sits on top of the dresser, Tune loses it once more and shouts that she almost trod on it. Where? Henry looks around him briefly before asking. Henry recognizes the monster and tries to punch it.
After putting something on it, he confesses that it is antiperspirant. He places it in a cup and leaves it there as they head back to the bed. When Henry again shuts out the lights, Carol asks him to see if the cup is still there.
They hear the glass shatter and the lights turn on as Carol sobs once more. Henry, perhaps it’s a way to vent resentment! She screams. Bugs have been observed to show anger! She yells, “Don’t move!”
She tells Henry that it is on the back of his neck and tells him to go outside. He retreats in fear, and she shuts him out. She complies with his advice to grant him access after that. The two of them return to bed, but Henry is now carrying a huge lizard on his back. The audience laughs out loud before Carol even realizes it. Carol gives it a quick glance and passes out. The sketch is fantastic throughout the entire thing.
