If you have young children, you should be able to relate to the story of Bree Hafen who decided to put her dreams of becoming a professional dancer on the back burner when her two children were born. Now Bree is getting a second shot at fame with her appearance on the Fox TV show, “So You Think You Can Dance.” However, the judges were just as impressed with her adorable kids as they were with mom’s dancing. When she made her first appearance on stage, Bree explained that she appeared with the blessing of her two children, Stella, two, and Luke, five.
Chief Justice Nigel Lythgoe took the opportunity to get to know the family a little more and asked the children to come up on stage to sit on the jury. Watching the video, you won’t be able to remain unmoved as the 29-year-old dancer explains that she gave up her own dreams of success on stage to care for her children. Earning a spot in the next round, Bree celebrated onstage with her two children and explained that she gained the confidence to return to the stage and her love of dance thanks to the support of her husband and children.
As she discussed what it meant to her to make it to the show’s next round, Bree Hafen’s daughter kept repeating, “My turn!” My turn ! Seeing that the two-year-old wanted to perform on the same stage as her mother, Nigel asked that she be left on stage and took over the music once again. Your heart will melt when you see this adorable two-year-old trying to copy the moves that earned her mom a spot in the next round of ‘So You Think You Can Dance’. Stella received a standing ovation for her performance and captured the hearts of viewers like you around the world.
