In 1997, she gave birth to seven children — and they were abandoned by her husband. This is what they look like today

After Kenny and Bobby McCaughey had a daughter, the couple thought about having a second child. But Kenny could not get pregnant and then she and her husband decided to resort to IVF. Kenny gave birth to seven embryos at once and all of them survived! Kenny gave birth to her seven children in 1997 and it was a real miracle! The babies at birth weighed no more than 1.5 kilograms, and two of them were diagnosed with cerebral palsy. However, later, after surgeries, the children were able to stand on their feet and walk.

This family was all over the media and received a lot of attention. Bobby McCaughey could not bear the responsibilities of a father with many children and left the family. Kenny was left alone with babies in her arms and absolutely no one to help her. But her family was very attentive to the public and personally the then US President Bill Clinton. Kenny was helped by various charitable companies and private foundations and the most ordinary people.

A large family was given a huge house and free meals. And several universities offered to provide free tuition for children as soon as they finished school.

And now after 21 years, we can see what the sevens look like now.

1.Natalie as soon as she was born (left) and already at her graduation party (right). The girl dreams of becoming a junior high school teacher. Natalie is considered one of the best students of her graduating class.

2. This is Brandon, he wants to join the army.

3. Kelsey, who weighed only 907 grams at birth. She loves to sing and dreams of becoming a singer. Kelsey enjoys singing in the school choir.

4. Kenny is a construction student at Des Moines Community College. He has dreamed of being a builder since he was a kid.

5. Alexis, who was born with cerebral palsy, dreams of becoming a teacher. She uses a special device to walk, but despite this, she is the co-captain of the high school cheerleading team.

6. Nathan was also born with cerebral palsy and would like to devote himself to science. He is studying at the Department of Computer Science at Hannibal-Lagrange University.

7. Joel, who was born last, is going to study computer science in college and he has already enrolled at Hannibal-Lagrange University

After all the children have left their parents’ home, Kenny feels lonely. She is used to the house always being noisy and always having something to do.

But she is very proud of her children, who in the very near future will become teachers, musicians, builders. Kenny is already dreaming of how he will nurse his many grandchildren. P.S. Share this post with your friends!
